How many people are actually buying merch due to the fact they're the worst ever team? I'd be surprised if they even got +$500 a year from it, if anything. Maybe hipster irony chasers, but even that's a stretch.
Add Sarge at Norwich to the competition. And maybe Weah at Lille. Oh and Meowzga at Alavés. We may have one guy battling the red line in each of the Top 5!

Best game Fürth has played so far, too. 1-1 away at Berlin with 20 to go. And Fürth had the best chance to score another. PS: Too beautiful to last. Own goal, and Hertha ahead 2-1. Relegation, here we go!

Furth looks beyond overmatched... and they may want to consider covering Davies who quite literally has all day to pick out a pass... Could have been 4-0 at the half. Not much from Green... although he did put in a nice cross near halftime.
Greuther Fürth skifter. '86: Julian Green går ud, og Jamie Leweling kommer ind— bold.dk - Bayern M. (@bold_bayern) September 24, 2021 Down 3-1 (scored after Green subbed) with a man advantage.
And, of course, he leaves and they score. 1-3. PS: This is sad because Green was the one guy who had been trying for his 85' on the field to do something.
One of the big problems with Fürth is their main striker, Hrgota. The guy shots like a kid, weak balls to the keeper. His replacement scored in a clean header. They should have put him in earlier. Frankly, they need to move on from the Swede who was maybe ok for the second division but here is not cutting it. Problem is, Hrgota is their captain too.
He wasn't all that effective today IMO... I am not that high on Green but I have seen him play a lot better.... of course it was against the toughest of teams.
None of them were effective today. And Green is, as I noted on the PBP thread, slow for the BuLi. He keeps getting there two seconds too late. On the other hand, defensively he had a good game, intercepting dangerous passes on his side and even moving to the left to help Dudziak when Bayern were going hard on his side (I bet that was the coach's instruction, though). Out of all the Fürth players, he looked one of the most involved. Shame he doesn't get to the balls in attack. The one time he did, Pavard tried to break his legs and got the red for it.
Yep. The fans gave him a big round of applause when he left. They knew he tried. He was the last one of the starters still running.
