Not gonna lie. I'm about as excited to see him play today as I was for James this morning.

You've been recruited to the church of Cucho which has @villus and @HomietheClown as the pastors

The only church I belong to praises Jesus.

I am driving the Cucho Chiva bandwagon though.

He looked like a young player on a new team. Still needs some time to get some chemistry.

    LOL

It's the first halfway decent team he's played for. And he looked good in friendlies.

As for his performance: he fought the entire game and was filled with energy. But he spent more time getting fouled from behind than anything else.

I've said before, I doubt this guy will find too much as success as a striker. Yesterday's game supported that prediction. But I still think h's going to have a decent season.

ill see if I can find a way to watch him this season just to see whats so great about him but I think he's just another youth player.

I watched the game and it looked like two teams trying to grind out a result. After watching the Everton game, this one was tough to wAtch yesterday LOL

Cucho put in a lot of effort and had some nice moments like a back heel pass into space but there was little follow up from his teammates after.

As long as he plays every week, the form will happen.

This is going to be every Getafe game, they grind the game down. Cucho won't be playing pretty futbol in a pretty squad, it'll be grafting and working but I think he fits really well with that style. I think it will make him be a good option for us, but this move is not likely to get him much further then a defensive option for us, but knowing CQ that very well could be a big plus in his book.

I remember you saying this when Cucho first signed with Getafe. I guess I’d rather see cucho grinding out games on a weekly basis than being a scoring machine against 2nd division jabronis :)

Kind of an assist by Cucho but that was mostly Cucurella's brilliance.

Could you guys imagine him doing passes like that to Muriel and Duvan?

    Just sayin'.

Played a part in all 3 goals. His back header on the 1st goal was nice too.

    Those were basic passes lol

I'm just glad he is playing and thriving. Only spot open is RW and I'm not sure queiroz would play him there though I think he deserves a call up

That third goal was set up with a pretty pass.
Similar to the pretty pas Duvan gave to Muriel against Brasil.
