Re: Juan Agudelo training with VfB Stuttgart Hmmm back to Agudelo. He suffered a severe drop in form after the GC was over. He began the season great. You could really tell he was feeling himself. But then the GC came and after that things sputtered. Maybe participating in GC was not the best thing for him at that point in time.
Re: Juan Agudelo training with VfB Stuttgart I was just reading trough the SBi chat with Ives, and a few questions regarding Juan and his future came up. Now, I'm not a big Ives fan whatsoever, but he does have more connections to teams then most US media types do. He said, from what he's heard, is that Backe and Juan do not have a good relationship, and that Backe simply doesn't rate Juan. Said he could very well see NY selling him in the near future, because eventhough Backe doesn't rate him, he does realize how much trade value he has. I take this with a grain of salt, like most info from Ives, but I do see some credibility to it, given what I've seen and heard following NY pretty closely.

Re: Juan Agudelo training with VfB Stuttgart was usually good. Some NY fans see him as a joke when it comes to NY/NJ news b/c he hasn't broken anything in years and only talks about rumors months later. This isn't his beat anymore.
Nice little offseason for Juan. Great exposure, and will hopefully help him make a good decision on the next career move (or not).
