    Jose's World Cup Warning

Among the great lines delivered by The Special One:

Sorry, oh Special One. The reason you get charged those kinds of prices is because with billions in Russian oil money behind you and your squad, it doesn't matter if you have to pay £21 million or £210 million for a player--its all the same to your owner. All rich teams pay it, and the more you spend, the worse it gets.

I find anyone who could spend 24M on DogBra and complain about less than that on SWP is silly... SWP probably outscored Bra last year and he's a middie.

another thing bout that article... he says that he's not worried about the world cup and how the players should not worry about it too... yeah, sure... come to a club and get paid big bills to sit your SS on the bench and then you get compensated by not being picked for the WC and you are supposed to be happy? I think players are gonna figure out sooner or later its not a safe place to go to.

I like how he uses Joe Cole as an example of how he's now on the National team but just a couple of weeks ago he was saying that Cole has no guaranty of playing time....

I hope ChavScum fall apart and start getting pissed at each other like the "Galacticos" notice all the guys supposedly leaving Real......

It smacks of "It's my ball and I'm taking it home"

People with class shouldn't and generally dont say things like that, like Kenyon bringing up the 'feud' between Manu,Arsenal and Chelsea again. They both just need to shut their mouths occasionally. I dont remember Dein or Hill Wood come up with too many statements like that...

...feel free to refresh my ageing and fading memory ;)

As a matter of fact, those two were pretty determined to make peace after Soupgate. Kenyon is just trying to get a seat at the big kids table again. They think talking themselves up is going to get it done...

It's not so much the seat that I mind, it's him not knowing which fork to use, and throwing the pudding across the table :D

Chelsea are at the big kids table, whether people like it or not. They are the reigning champions, are the favourites for the title and that is that.

Mourinho is clearly disappointed at not getting Gerrard, but I doubt he is heartbroken.
