I'm not sure what all the hype is about him. I saw him yesterday and I was not impressed. He can't take the pressure of being followed by all these big teams. I feel that once he goes to a bigger team he will struggle
I agree. He wasn't double teamed yesterday and he still couldn't do much. He tried to get his team back in the game near the end but it was already 3-0 anyway. He's the kind of guy that would probably struggle in a big team. He could prove us wrong in January. We'll see.
I don't think any of the big three really need Jorginho. Sporting has Liedson, Porto has too many strikers, and Benfica has Karades and Gomes.
Yeah, but Benfica has only 2 healthy strikers now; Karadas and Sokota. I wouldn't be surprised if Benfica got him in January.
Maybe all the hype is starting to get to him (and Vitoria players in general). They probably thought they were going to walk in a Luz and win by attacking on us. They were overconfident and that killed them. They should have stuck to the game plan that beat SCP, defend, defend, defend, and then try to score on the counter. They opened themselves up and got smacked for it. Next time, they'll learn.
