Good stuff. I think we all knew it would be Jol. Especially as Santini's resignation was a shock on friday, yet they immediately said they would make an announcement concerning the manager's position on monday (ie. a bit too soon to have got anyone else in).

Didn't think we would need the continental setup so quickly but without it we would be looking for a new manager to bring in all new players and start from nothing all over again.

This may be the best thing to happen all season as we need to do something to get out of this funk we are in.

not bad, id rather have a manager full time then interm anyways. I think he was a good choice and we should do well.

what is good is that Daniel Levy said we are not paying off Santini as was reported in some newspapers today

Good to see the appointment was quick and no pay off for Santini

Martin Jol's Blue and White Army :D

hopefully they'll try and stablelise the club now.

It's the best move spurs have made for a long time. Santini's tactics were so dull and so un-tottenham. Jol has a reputation for free-flowing attacking football. Carrick will be our playmaker and it may even be worth shelling out £40 to watch a game from now on. It's certainly been a waste of money the last few years!

Best appointment we've made for years. What also rocks is that he's not a 'big' name that the fans are going to have unrealistic expectations of. He'll just get his head down and get on with it. Hopefully. ;)
