I would like to start a non-profit coalition of Women's soccer fans across the nation to try to benefit the revival of the WUSA. The job as a member would be to pass out flyers, make telephone calls, write letters, and get to all the untapped resources in order to keep the future of Women's soccer alive. If you are interested and serious about doing this, Please email me at: Cew55585@aol.com
WWC games here at RFK There were Freedom fans ready for the game with banners and holding fliers that read Save the WUSA -- even black arm bands. This needs to be replicated at all of the venues, maybe even a chant of WUSA, WUSA so that it can be heard on the TV.
Re: WWC games here at RFK Yes, we sent out a newsletter last friday to people urging them to make signs and pass out flyers (a group of fans took the liberty of making so many [thanks guys])...Also, in LA we were doing "WUSA" chants with signs and flyers, but they weren't too friendly during the Non-US matches -television wise. Hopefully we'll get more feedback in Philly later this week. We've had thousands log onto our website and a great response from various states. So far this movement has been a success, thanks to so many people! Keep up the great work!
Save the WUSA Mighty -- what is the URL for your website, you have the e-mail address. In the past I have written to the sponors to thank them for their support and I do make the effort to purchase from WUSA and MLS supporters. Maybe the NYSE need to save face they seem to have a lot of money generated from fees from our retirement (IRA,401k) to throw around.
