His goal scoring exploits for the U17s are absurd. Any Liga Mx nerds know what the young striker situation is looking like at Monterrey?

If you're ever wondering whether a YNT roster has been recently released, just watch the YA forums for a whole bunch of concurrent thread updates from @BostonRed.

I hope they offer him a contract. I think that would be a good place for Gallardo to develop. I don't like how nearly all players that we have with Mexican citizenship immediately go to Mexico. Some of them would probably be better off developing in Europe with how bad the success rate is for American players in Mexico.
Listed as unregistered in the Liga MX database. http://www.ligamx.net/cancha/jugador/96788/eyJpZENsdWIiOiA0N30= Makes sense considering he's trialing in Belgium

Hopefully Gallardo has learned that the Cosmos like to sign YNTers as a publicity stunt, but don't actually have any plan for them to develop.
Looks like he may be signing for Orlando City, as he has an Instagram picture with Pierre da Silva at the OCSC awards ceremony with the caption he can't wait until they can play together next year.
I'm cool with that. da Silva has done decently with OCB and it will be nice to see Gallardo playing in the USL.
He's with OCSC's U17/18 academy squad at present. http://ocsc.ussoccerda.com/sam/teams/index.php?team=1655934&player=114586696 Pic: https://www.instagram.com/p/BNxo8e4DczZJIiU1bvrZtTju2glx_mGA27ge1A0
Called it. Not a bad move for him, but hopefully he can at least make the jump up to the B team very soon.
As a '98, he's gonna age out of the DA soon anyway, so he's going to have to go somewhere. In any case, if he's healthy, he should presumably dominate at this level. YA trivia -- looks like one of his coaches is former YNT/YA Sammy Castellanos. http://www.gousfbulls.com/ViewArticle.dbml?ATCLID=205175521
