Definitely up there. imo, he's been Chelsea's best player this season. He's been simply awesome, over the past couple of seasons he's really developed into a real, real player. In my top 5 fvourite players at the moment.
I still think you could argue that Lampard has been Chelsea's top man this year. Joe Cole definitely deserves the most improved award but not man of the season to date.
he has been playing very very well over the last 12 months. He has been the difference on numrous occasions. Let's hope it stays this way.
I was just saying the same thing recently. He's probably been our best player this season. Once Robben gets fully fit (and he's close) that's going to be a fun pair of wingers for anyone to contend with.
Don't know if I can agree that he's been best. Lamps for one reason, Terry another and the always steady Makelele. I will say he's probably been the most inspirational and influential when it's going tough. Definitely the most improved.
The player with the best form between now and the start of the season. ps Clan phrase your posts better you sound like a prossie
Can't help it if you took it that way lad Best form between now and the start of the season? Gallas. Even Supah Frank has been spotty. Terry has played like a rock, but plays a single position. Cole has caught on the past two months alright, but Gallas has been inspirational all season long, from various positions across the back. imho.
...I can see where you're coming from, however I would have to give it to either Rooney or Gerrard. I suppose the big plus is they're all in the national team. Hope they all keep up their impressive form in the summer.
Well for me Lampard,Terry and Cech have played better than Cole throughtout the season. Cole hasnt been consitent as these all season.
I know what ur saying but for me Goalies are very underated and deserve more credit. If you look at the other top clubs Arsenal have a dodgy keeper imo, Reina is poor on crosses but great on shots (Liverpools clean sheets are imo mainly due to their defense) Van Der Sar looks solid but nothing special.
Lampard has had several great performances, coupled with some average games and the odd non impact game throughout all competitions to date. To state otherwise, is to be absurd. Cech likewise.....and young Cole no different. However, whereas Lampard was on fire in September and October, young Cole has been getting the rave reviews in November and December. As is typical in all sports, he's the flavour of the month to fill the papers. Terry has been solid throughout the entire season, however, to overlook what Gallas brings to the entire team, with his ability to put in consistently high quality performances, across the entire back line, is an injustice. I think Terry is the better centerhalf, pound for pound, in league play, as I just don't see the willingness of Gallas to throw his body into the challenge or path of the shot - however, as I previously stated, Terry can play but one position.
