That was the last one I played. Couldn't get into it with it going all online. Least I've got the Yakzua series (Which inspired my namesake, though I'm regretting not choosing Majima)

VI has the best villian, VII and VIII have the best soundtracks (I prefer VIII), IX has the best visuals. Best game is definitely VI though.

He was taken seriously by some signficant people back in the 80s as well. Lot banks loaned money to him and there is his time as a sports team owner. He wouldn't have gotten his current notoriety if it weren't for The Apprentice. And he wouldn't have his fame if he didn't have his book.

In 2006, I took a trip to NY with a family friend. We had some time to kill before dinner and he suggested we go into Trump Tower for a laugh. If you told us that we'd live through him, we'd have snorted.

He's confident, sure, but it's a low grade kind of confidence. It's a type of confidence that fades away when someone stands up to him. Do consider though that he's ostentatious and that people see that and think that's how most affluent to wealthy people live (A moron's idea of a rich person). The funny thing is, a contestant who was on The Apprentice and managed money for Goldman Sachs on the private wealth end, said Trump wasn't by any stretch, the most financially successful person they had ever met or worked with.

Has Trump declared himself King of Scotland yet?

In those days banks were lending money to anyone. Remember "junk bonds"?

The Dems should take this opportunity to object to the result in Texas based on Republican efforts to disenfranchise voters.

    We're at the homestretch, kids.

They're counting Tennessee's vote. AIUI, Vermont will put Biden over 270.

While those are the last 6 to openly support this seditious movement, that should not absolve the rest of the GOP Senate (perhaps Romney excepted) of this utter charade and of a coup attempt. That must be tied to their neck. They are complicit and must be help responsible one way or an other. The can't go scotch free after this national disgrace.
That shameful sequence of events, and the role of House and Senate GOPers in supporting and enabling it must have consequences. For those in office and running again, the litmus test should be, on what sides were you on, that Day of Infamy, Jan 6, 2021?.

Yes, absolutely, but that SeditiousSix line... that's a good political 'hook'. People will be able to compare a politician to where they stand in relation to them, a bit like the McCarthy hearings used to ask people, 'Are you now or have you ever been a member of the Communist Party'.

Whether it addresses any real issues are sometimes irrelevant. The political 'theatre' of it works well.

Almost all of those loans were because of his dad tho. Unlike Donald, he’s dad was actually good at building a real estate empire and his dad was able to use his relationships with the various bankers to keep the money flowing into Donald’s pockets...

I thought it would be bad but I never thought it would be this bad.

For the past 4 years I was trying to figure out how long it took the GOP to get rid of the stink of Trump

For the past 2 months I have been trying to figure out how the GOP survives the post election attempts to overturn Biden's win.

Since yesterday, I have concluded the GOP does not deserve to survive.

His usual bravado is completely gone. Sucks having to face and deal with reality for him, I guess: hilarious that just 36hrs ago, he was still bragging that he'd never concede, HA! Definitely not on his Adderall laden cocktail ether: he almost looks sedated.

After having riled up the crowd to have them assault the Capitol 48 hours ago, I wonder how can he deliver this speech with a straight face.

    Teleprompter and scripted

I would guess he has been made to give that speach as the price for the continued support of his admin

Of course why anyone believes he will stay on the straight and narrow for 2 weeks ...

    Lol

Yeah, he has a totally different voice when reading from a teleprompter. It's like that of a child forced to say something by their parent. He doesn't believe a word of it.
