I wish that I could read Dutch. The match tracker on the Ajax website mentions O'Brien in the description of the Vitesse goal.
It's over now. First time that Ajax wins in the Gelredome. With the first goal the Ajax-site says that Amoah worked himself past JOB to score the 1-0. About the second Dutch part BuSo is correct.
Nice road win for Ajax. I noticed that Bergdolmo was not listed in the match report. Is Bergdolmo still injured or is he in Koeman's doghouse?
Nothing new there. He's the Gattuso of the Eredivisie. He's a pure bruising destroyer. But I must admit the Ajax defense improved once Koeman brought him back last year. I don't want him starting but I do want him on the pitch to protect away leads.
BuSo, where did you do get that info about a red for Van Halst? Edit: I see now that Ajax.nl made a mistake there. Report says yellow, but the stats says red. It it yellow.
Ajax rallies to end Vitesse's unbeaten home run Defenders Petri Pasanen and Christian Chivu scored second-half goals as Ajax came back from 1-0 down to beat Vitesse Arnhem 2-1 in the Dutch first division on Sunday. http://www.sportserver.com/soccer/international/general/story/511601p-4064917c.html
If you want see one of the best long distance free kicks that you'll see this year, click here http://www.geocities.com/supershota/ Chivu's gamewinner!
I saw the last 20 minutes of this one as it started too early for me. At that time, JOB was playing in the midfield. He was praised by Tommy Smyth, for whatever that is worth. He didn't have a real big role in the match, though as Smyth pointed out, the other side had very little change through the center of the park in the second half. The free kick goal was great!
You watched the last 20 min , with Tommy Smyth announcing. Does that mean it was shown in the US. If so where and how do I get it.
Match report. JOB and Chivu at fault for Vitesse goal. Interesting comments about Koeman playing a defensive 4-4-2 with Galasek and Maxwell in tough matches. I guess that will be the formation for Champions League away matches. http://www.ajax-usa.com/ajax/matches/02-03/0825.html
No, I don't live in the US. I watched it in Peru on ESPN international using the SAP function to get the English audio.
