Big goal against a legit team. His positioning was excellent, and he worked to get in the right place to score. https://streamja.com/XaK54
His finish reminded me of a goal I saw Fernando Gomes score back in Estádio das Antas when I was a young lad. He probably Learned those instincts when he was a Porto youth product.
Absolutely abysmal today. Got subbed off and started crying. https://maisfutebol.iol.pt/videos/5...x-pontapeia-cadeira-depois-de-ser-substituido
So show up here when it's convenient, but when he disappears for multiple consecutive games, you stay silent and don't say a word. Lol. Priceless.
If that’s the case, that would ridiculous. Especially under a talent crusher like Simeone, who could expect and straight upward trajectory at such a young age? Look at Bruno Fernandes, who is an undeniable superstar today. At Felix’s age, and for a couple years after studio, Bruno was failing miserably in Italy. There is no legitimate measurable reason not to believe Felix isn’t on the road to superstardom himself. He’s far ahead of the curve compared to many other Portuguese players over the years who have made the move at such a young age.
It's very possible. Simeone already won the league with Atletico, and he did without requiring Barcelona to be completely bankrupt asking players to forfeit wages, and with Madrid still competing. Both of those teams have fallen off and are complete messes. The title is there for the taking. Was just curious why nothing was mentioned when Atletico and Felix lost to a 3rd division spanish team in Copa Del Rey. I guess that didn't support the narrative it seems
Well I kind of have to agree with you on this one. There are alot of circumstances that lead to a team wining the league and rarely does it come down to just one player. No one player should take credit for success or for failure of a team. While I like Felix alot, I have to admit that I was hoping he would be at a higher level than he is now. Again, there are other factors that may lead to that including the coaching stile of this team. I still hope that he will be a huge star and help Portugal NT achieve great things. Lets hope

DUDE I was JUST about to post this. So odd that you got to it right before I did. I have the direct vided link here: https://www.redditmedia.com/mediaembed/j077bj So begs the question: why isn't this dude a #10 or an attacking midfielder? His vision is fuckin elite, but his finishing is garbage. Those through balls and deliveries are insanely good.
I agree that he seems more a pure playmaker, but I’d suggest that the biggest issue that he is far from the finished product. Ronaldo’s first full season at United saw him score 4 goals. The next year saw 5. The year after that saw 9. Only in his 4th year at the big club did all the tools in the toolbox come together. Why is Felix expected to have a more directly upward trajectory than the greatest of all time?
Umnm because he was the most overhyped player of all time, and they paid €120 million. And everyone is still over-rating the shit out of him. That's why. Ronaldo also wasn't a striker. Scoring goals was not his sole job and responsibility.
it was 2-0 I’m pretty sure he was not the only one with“ no influence” in the game. It’s a team game. That being said I do agree with you, he is not a striker. Much better as a play maker. This coach sucks at player evaluation
