I asked for proof and some duse told me to rub his sack lel. I doubted the guys quality before his Porto career but he's doing well right now and me and anyone who doubted him are eating crow now. I'll gladly eat more crow if it means he succeeds/improves.
It's like people forgot how good he was when he played in ligamx and are baffled at his skills now. He had the best crosses of any defender in the league. It just all went to shit when he went to watford. Now hes sending them in like he used to. He wasn't always horrible at crossing he was just in a slump and now he's back to be amazing at it.
Seriously? He was always hit and miss with his crosses, let's not pretend like he was Roberto Carlos-like at America just because he's now doing well at Porto. Glad for Layun though. I wouldn't move anywhere if I were him though, he's finally found a good club in Europe where he's thriving (and in beautiful Porto no less).
And at 27 Layun is racking up assists with his crosses, putting long range shots on frame & scoring more often than Raul Jimenez or Carlos Vela... so there is that...
Just wondering if you watch LigaMX or you are one of those euro plastics who knows all about the league without watching any games....
I do. Just wondering if you're also one of those guys who watches highlight reels and bases their judgment off that.
Porto is the the only team left I the UCL that is undefeated in all competitions Layun is playing good because Porto appriaciate him a lot
Porto is one of the biggest clubs in the world. They reached the top-8 last year and are currently undefeated in UCL & domestic play so far. In most of Porto's victories and factoring in their current form, Layun has played a big role for them. Layun is currently playing well. So, why is it laughable to say that he is one of the better players in his position in the world? I did not say he is one of the best but he is certainly one of the better players right now for his position.
Looks like the Portuguese Liga and Spanish La Liga will be merging soon Benfica Porto Sporting, Braga, Maritimo and Guimaraes and potentially Boavista
Does any of this relate to Barcelona becoming an independent country and getting kicked out of la liga? If so, then we'd see Barcelona in Ligue 1.
Damm that would suck strictly talking as a La Liga Fan, having Real Madrid, Barcelona, Atletico Madrid, Porto, Valencia, Benfica, Sevilla, Villarreal, Sporting etc. Would be crazy to watch on Game Day.
Valencia and Levante are not part of Catalonia full apologies But yes also teams like Braga and Maritimo would probably replace Getafe and Rayo
So far they are in talks but with Portuguese clubs like Maritimo building a new stadium I knew this day would happen
