Re: Jean Beausejour/Ricardo Rojas, America (R) (News, etc...)

Rojas and Montengro were are our best players by far. Like I state it before, the team has the chemistry going on and we ARE THE BEST team right now, anyone with common sense knew that a team with players like Jean, Cabanas, Memo, K. Rojas, Monetengro, and Aquivaldo was going to work out and now we sit at the top.

Mancilla did nothing, that first goal was a lucky goal and the second was a fake penalty (kinda like the one of chivas)

What can you expect? We have the best team, coach, stadium, and fans. Jean did great on one particular play at the beginning of the game when it was still open for Toluca to win it and he stopped a diablo from turning around and taking a shoot in the area, which could of changed the outcome of the game dramatically.

He could not play that position because of Vera and Arguello and he can also play it now because the coach has moved Esqueda to the wings and Montenegro in the middle. He is doing a much better job than Torito did at the start and I doubt he will give up that position so Torito will be fighting on his original position.

Reading erick's soccer-related posts, his interest in emo stuff and his love for Kudai makes me ignore what he types. :)

Well, he's there to score goals... in that sense, he did more than enough. Unluckily, no one else in Toluca did their part.

I'm still a little bothered by the no-call on Bielsa's part. I'd rather have Mancilla than Paredes right now.

Toluca could not do anything against us since Aquivaldo, K. Rojas, and Jean did a great job defending the attack game of Toluca.

He talks about Club America in other forums. Also, that was intended for Naca.

Re: Jean Beausejour/Ricardo Rojas, America (R) (News, etc...)

Him and Pardo have started to work great together. Finally the midfield is working because everyone has different attributes that contribute to the team. Jean has the speed and the ability to stay on the player and don't let them make a play and pardo has the passing ability, he made a great pass for a goal against Tecos, and the sides are working much better than last season because Reyna and Esqueda have an offensive mentality and that is what Jean lacked when he played in that position.

He doesn't have competition this year because the team sold Vera and also Arguello, even though Rosinei has been tested at that position but he is more of an offensive midfielder. Torito had that position at the start of the season but he got injured and Chucho was forced to move Jean to the middle with Pardo and it worked out and because of that he moved Esqueda to the wing where Jean played and that has also worked out. The good thing is that the coach has found his starting eleven.

El América se cae de la cima tras amargo empate.

LOL: America is the team with the most goals in the Apertura and Queretaro has leaked in the most. Yea, not "amargo" at all, right?

You forget the fact that most of our goals come from counte attack. It is kind of hard to score that way when the opposing team is not attacking at all.

So you excuse a lowly tie against one of the poorest teams this term?

Not an excuse. The team also played a friendly in the middle of the week. I would of liked the three points but one point is not that bad.

one point is bad! given that we are in a tough group so we could get facked if the team doesnt get 3 points every week
