Re: Japanese Abroad 2010/11 [R] - Other The article was referring to Abe's record, which in this case was true at the time of his debut (although badly phrased). But yeah, the article itself sounds like a typical product of Harry Harris' wild imagination.
Re: Japanese Abroad 2010/11 [R] - Other Honda should go to Wolfsburg, he'll be a benchwarmer if he does go to Man. City
Re: Japanese Abroad 2010/11 [R] - Other VVV Venlo [2 - 0] FC Volendam As I posted above Cullen scored.
Re: Japanese Abroad 2010/11 [R] - Other VVV will play Zwolle on 26th (A) & 29th (H) for a spot in the 2011-12 Eredivisie. Zwolle came 2nd in the Eerste divisie and got past another 2nd div team on penalties. Playing on the 22nd (120 minutes), 26th & 29th with the first team for Zwolle will probably take its toll when they play in Venlo. --------- Are there any rumours of J.League players to europe? I remember Usami got an offer from Bayern fairly recently. Anything on that or other rumours?

Re: Japanese Abroad 2010/11 [R] - Other Well here's the end of that Honda to Man City bs: http://japanesefootballersaroundtheglobe.blogspot.com/2011/05/man-city-in-for-two-japan-stars-espn.html F**k you Harry Harris of ESPN, don't put your bullsh!t up just so you have something to show the boss. This actually really pisses me off, because there was no speculation before he started it from thin air.
Re: Japanese Abroad 2010/11 [R] - Other Ouch !!! Why why why !!! Damn.. how many year Honda gonna stay at Russia.
Re: Japanese Abroad 2010/11 [R] - Other It's ok if he stays, CSKA qualified for the group stage of CL next season. It's ok if he'll be starting member of the team I must add. And Ploegsma words - it's rather uncertain source of information
Re: Japanese Abroad 2010/11 [R] - Other Kees Ploegsma (honda's agent) probably gets called all the time from journalists following up a rumour. He should just change his outgoing message to "Honda is staying at CSKA, he's happy, haven't talked to anyone about anything about a transfer.....Until this outgoing message changes, always assume this to be true"
Re: Japanese Abroad 2010/11 [R] - Other Why not? Even Cullen can turn out to be a success story with saving VVV from relegation.
Re: Japanese Abroad 2010/11 [R] - Other City would be a very bad move. They seriously have an overflow of Midfield players. He would really have to battle his way up the ladder. Is Honda's career stagnating at Moscow? The only way for him to get out of there is if he performs well in the CL or they win the league (of course Honda has to be a big contributor). Shame that his injury occurred at this point of his career. Moscow will not let him go if they can not sell him for profit. They know how valuable he is to the club. He has the potential to make $$$. Staying another year wouldn't be bad IMO. Not many players learn everything a league has to offer in 1 or 2 years. I'd expect him to leave next year. I could see Chelsea needing Honda's service in a couple of years. There midfield is old and they need new blood. Eissen is half of what he used to be and Lampard is struggling as well. Those 2 don't dominate midfield like they used too.
Re: Japanese Abroad 2010/11 [R] - Other Yeah, it feels kind of weird knowing Honda will stay another year in Russia. Who can see that league on tv? Damnit. I want to follow him.
Re: Japanese Abroad 2010/11 [R] - Other I was all for Honda staying one more year with CSKA but if he keeps on being on the bench despite being so good (because he's obviously one step ahead of the others), he should leave. Man City, terrible ... but why not ? I mean, if he makes it there that would be huge. This team, with the overload of money coming from the investors, has the potential to the CL. I would please if Honda could help win the title for example, that means a lot for them. It's more rewarding than going to a team already winning everything.
Re: Japanese Abroad 2010/11 [R] - Other Honda (and Ucchi) win cups! Nagatomo next? http://www.goal.com/en/news/1717/ed...tsuto-uchida-and-keisuke-honda-celebrate-cup-
