    Not only did he score, he assisted the first 2 goals with crosses. I guess he is proving valuable down the stretch. Mallorca is out of the drop zone for now.

    I read in the newspaper that Okubo were involved in alla Mallorcas goals.

    Not saying Okubo wasn't impressive ... it just seems it'll take legislation from the Diet or grand tectonic shifts (which one moves faster, I wonder?) to get Zico to deviate from his selection patterns.

    LOL. By the way, how did you choose your userid? It wouldn't have anything to do with what Korean's derisively call Japanese, would it?

    Um, no. Afraid that's one term that has slipped my grasp.

    Trooper comes from being a former member of the 11th Ohio Cavalry. Bari is partly for baritone (my vocal range) and Bari (the Italian club).

    Read about that on Nikkansports over the weekend. I don't know, will he still be that effective in three years time?

    Mallorca tied 1-1. Levante lost 4-1 so Mallorca will remain in the Primera Division.
