We really need to look deep into NY FBI: Former FBI spy hunter pleads guilty to working for Russian oligarch. Charles McGonigal, once special agent in charge of counterintelligence at the FBI’s New York office, admitted that he took money from Putin crony Oleg Deripaska. https://t.co/3NIyoHnjQk— Dr. Emma L. Classic factory town. Think the building was converted into condos & not torn down. Tony Zarak Helme Snuff Mill - Helmetta, NJ. (Abandoned) Looming large in the small town of Helmetta is the now abandoned Helme Snuff Mill. The factory began producing snuff in the 1883, and by 1925 it was the largest of it's kind in the world, employing more than 400 people. In 1993, it was purchased by Swisher International, who closed down the mill, and moved operations to Wheeling, West Virginia. It has remained inactive ever since. The G. W. Helme Snuff Mill District is a classic example of a late 1800's mill town. The district consists of the George Washington Helme snuff mill, housing for employees, accessory buildings, St. George Episcopal Church, Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church, and Helmetta Pond, which at one time served as a source of power for the mill. About 115 buildings were originally in the district, which was named to the New Jersey Register of Historic Places on February 1, 1980, and to the National Register of Historic Places listings in Middlesex County, New Jersey on August 15, 1980. It's been slated to be torn down, and replaced with new condos for many years now. You would think there would be at least one developer without shit for brains, that could see the potential of the mill as living space.
I wonder-- 110 years of nicotine, 60 years of a railroad spur-- I'm guessing that the rails were pulled up in the 1943 scrap drive, because they left the ties behind which no one would have done after 1970 or so-- a spur which surely burned dirty coal most of that time... the millpond did not provide power, the millrace emptying into it did, and if the millpond sat stagnant for 30 years god knows what kind of nocotine and sulphur and lead soup (trucks replacing the railcars) the thing brewed into... It might not be the healthiest place to live; and then there's the matter of the spur running by the place at arm's length-- of built in 1883 it was probably done well to start-- but that's a whole lot of shakin' goin' on for foundations over 50 years old. Who knows what a capable inspector might make of the place. Might be better to knock it down, haul it off and start from scratch?

Rents for those units start at $1,550 a month. The project also includes 20 townhouses that are all occupied, with rents beginning at $2295, The good ol' days. Rents probably double that now. Nothing to sneeze at!
Things are heating up again. Not in a good way. Breaking: A threatening letter containing fentanyl was sent to Fulton County election officials, according to the Georgia Secretary of State. https://t.co/K6ySeVeHqS— Kyle Griffin (@kylegriffin1) November 9, 2023
Some Wingnut interviewed Gregory Yetman's brother. Not sure how much is BS grandstanding or not. But these people believe that they're still at war with the govt which is scary. I just spoke with Todd Yetman, brother of Gregory, the man hunted down by FBI for J6 related offenses. The conversation was sad, infuriating, and in some instances, funny.First, he said the FBI staked out their home for THREE MONTHS prior to the raid on Wednesday am.(Todd,… pic.twitter.com/T8te0QJUtX— Julie Kelly 🇺🇸 (@julie_kelly2) November 10, 2023
