I mean, I doubt heads of futbol operations in Brasil do things just to get rid of one player on the squad. Would not make long term business sense.
I do think they know the history and circumstances between the two and do not seem to care, which is telling.

I doubt they hire him, I'd bet they're leaking stories as a threat to James. They'd have to be morons to not know their star player wants to murder the Spanish manager who has never managed in South America and is way more expsensive while also being incompetent then almost any other choice they'd realistically be linked to. If you're bold enough to go after and sign James I really doubt you don't know the history between these two.

 

Based on this guy's tenure at DIM, I'd say this decision works tremendously in James' favor. Juanfer was destroying FPC that season.

 

James will not be available for his fourth consecutive match tonight against Palmeiras.

He will be available for the Copa do Brasil match on Thursday though.
