Well we all know that .. a girl tells you to go to her place because nobody is there and when you arrive you see it's true.. nobody is there, not even the girl.

I usually don't find Futbolred such a useful read, but I found this comment really interesting as I'd not heard of such a diagnosis nor that James was ignoring it's findings:

"Creo que James tiene que tomar conciencia de que tiene un problema crónico, no sé si la gente que lo rodea lo ve así, espero que sí; le hicieron todas las pruebas y le dieron un diagnóstico que debe seguir: cambio de calzado, cambio de pisada, muchas cosas que debe cambiar si no quiere seguir lesionándose del sóleo."

Rafa won't even dress James this weekend. After training apart from team past few days Benitez says James won't be part of team this week due to Covid isolation protocol. (Note: I haven't read anywhere that he actually HAS Covid)

yeah, I think that's a BS excuse. Likely, because Everton supporters would go ape nuts if they just saw James riding the bench while Iwobi, Gomes and Davies bring zero ideas to the table. Sounds like a transfer is still in the works in the meantime. Frustrating situation and James has once again cornered himself in a bad situation.

I just haven't followed them in ages. Has Cholo used a 10 since Arda Turan? (Yes, I realize that was a long time ago!)

I could see James going to Atletico because he wants to go back to Madrid and I could also see him going because it would be a really bad fit and a really high likelyhood he'd be benched consistently. Cholo does not give a shit who you are, and guys who don't defend or press and fit in the system simply won't play in important games.

He and Mendes know that Cholo makes Benitez look gentle... I am so confused.

Is this a play to get Milan to move?

Only think Cholo might really appreciate is his service on set pieces.
They like to rely a lot on corners and FKs compared to other Spanish teams.

Other than that I am not sure how he would fit in.

You really hope so but at this point with James you really have no idea, the guy makes really dumb decisions.

He went on twitch and said he didn't know that was Atletico s slogan.

Someone needs to take the phone from him. This is embarrassing. Unless it's a Mendes ploy to show ATM that James is still a big draw...

Some athletes social media is a great tool to showcase their personality and they are really good at engaging with fans in a healthy way that helps them, with James he is at least relatable in the sense that we all know huge idiots that shouldn't be putting a single thought on social media and that's him.
