Not impressed? Well, last season set the standard impossibly high, but we're playing vividly, leading 2-0 and it's only early in the game and after this match we've probably gotten eight wins and a draw in nine matches making us Liga leaders. The arrival of Ibra has changed our style a little, and sometimes a big percentage of goals happens to come from set pieces, but it's not like we can't score open play goals.

Nothing to worry about. No reason to relax, no reason to worry.

Messi is back, playing beautifuly, Iniesta playing better and Ibra scoring. Can't complain!

What is missing from last season is Henry's goals.

see now after a goal or 2 more is when he should throw in the coming off injury players like rafa and bojan to get them back in form....for the sake of later one when theyre gonna have to be rotated back into play

Re: this year vs. last year.

I think that, because we ended up with three trophies last year, people forget that we weren't always steam-rolling every match to get there. Watch, for example, last year's games against Getafe or Espanyol.

We generally look free-flowing when people are stupid enough to advance their defense and open up the field (see the 6-2 against LPB). Rubin didn't do that, and Zaragoza isn't doing that. They're playing all 10 of their outfield players in their own half and waiting for us to make a mistake in bringing out the ball so that they can counter.

What is impressive to me this week is that in both games we're getting good chances despite facing such defensive teams. To a certain extent that is different from last year. Remember, Iniesta's goal was the first shot on target we had in the whole second leg against Chelsea. Zlatan's ability to shoot from distance, as well as get the ball in tight places and distribute it or finish, is a big reason we've generated our chances today. We bought him to be a bus-buster, and he's showing he can do that.

lol aside from us not demolishing teams last year in teh beginning i think people forget we had pep fearing for his postition at one point...lol....so easy to forget humble beginnings when ur winning everything there is to win

i hope we get the losing outta the way in the beginning like last time compared to end of the season

Did a quick check. In ten Ligue matches Gudjohnsen has played in four, starting three of them.
He's played 194' out of a possible 900'.
Yet to score, no bookings nor sendings off.
