Your boy Edgey just made a nice pointless, deer-in-the-headlights run into three defenders with no help and fell down. :D

And then when Messi made it all the way to the goal line coming down the left, there wasn't anyone in the box at all. Eto'o sorely missed.

    PUYOL! almost scores!!

Alright, there needs to be a payoff soon. A little trickery off the corner kick, cross sails over everyone.

Thuram is 36 and Sylvinho is 34, they shouldn't play two difficult games in 3 days!!!

    Re: Ouch

This honestly doesn't change much. RM still has to lose twice and now we HAVE to win at the Bernabeu to be level on points.

Was Santi allowed to play for us in this game :p? Coudl have been a better contributor than Titi. What a horrendous game

Athletic deserved the tie , well deserved

^True. But its dropped points like this that are the difference between winning La lIga and coming in second. I had a bad feeling about this match...

Sylvinho was doing a good job playing the wing before the counter attack play. FR shguld have played more conservatively and not let our back line go in attack after the lead. Its games like this that costed us the Liga last year :(

It's still mathematically entirely possible to win the league. Don't give in now.

I am sorry guys, Thuram is my Ole of the match... I wonder why did Milito not start! I thought he did very well last game, Puyol doesn't look comfortable at LCB! I know that FR was trying to play Thuram and Zambrotta next to each other like their Juve days but it is much easier when Thuram is 3-4 year younger! Abidal should have played because Sylvinho was getting caught upfield on various occasion. Henry needs to finish his chances, had he scored that goal it was have been different, Messi is a bit predictable but he was doing his job and it was Deco and Henry that were turned OFF, Iniesta keeps the ball way too long, he needs to pass more and not choose to run the ball between 3-4 players, Zambrotta was OK, Valdes was very good, the goal was clearly not his fault, Bojan did his job, Xavi was absent...:mad::mad:
