This early in the season, it is always hard to really judge the quality of play on the field. However, this season I have noticed that the early games I've watched have been played extremly well. The crowds have been nice, the stadiums look terrific (NYRB can't open up the new stadium fast enough, Giant Stadium is horrible), and the talent on the field seems to improve with each season. MLS is on the right track my friends.
i think we need to listen to you, trackman, about MLS being on the right track. i agree with your assessment.
agreed. also one other thought, that the addition of TFC, and the DP's, I expect the league to not have as much parity as its had in the past, TFC diluted league talent, and DP's also increased the variance from top to bottom, so I expect the single table at the end of the year to have a greater spread than usual.
....and the TV coverage has actually worked. I had two different FMF soccer fans, who are buddies of mine, and actually tell me that they watched the games. One step at a time.
I'm not sure what pleasued is, but it sounds randy. but yeah ... I agree with the original poster. for the most part.
Hells no. I thought the same thing and I was quite dismayed to see relatively serious postings that overlooked the obvious goldmine.
I agree with all sentiments... On the point about TFC and the decrease in parity, while this is a good thing, I do hope TFC does a little better as the season goes on...MLS has taken huge strides, but its not at the point where a team folding in a few years is not a possibility... but enough of that negative talk...I'm very pleased so far...two guaranteed matches a week is great!!
Agree wholeheartedly. I am especially proud of DCU and Houston, they represented MLS and Soccer in the US extremely well in the CCC!! I won't be surprised if MLS wins that cup within the next 2 years! WELL DONE!!!! I only wish I had a team here in Phoenix!!
When the Trackkkkkk Man testifies, that the league is fully on Track. Its the Trackmannnnn, oh its the Trackmannnnnnnnnnn.
