Damn. 2 years and not a single Brasileirao start.

I agree, this is a good move for him.

Came in as a sub today in the 66th minute.

I do not know how he played and his team lost 0-1 but it is nice to see him get more than a handful of minutes for the first time.

Good to know about a new guy like Aponzá.

Although there's going to be a lot of people making fun of his first name based on other threads I have read lately. :ROFLMAO:

Why? It's a pretty standard black last name in the South Pacific of Colombia.

Cause people love making fun of names from what I have observed.

And it is a different spelling from the Wellingtons And Wellington, etc.

It is all good to me.
Our players can be called anything as long as they are happy and play with happiness.

The names are just a part of our set up. Acknowledging that isn't making fun!

Btw - I'd never really heard Yaser's name pronounced till yesterday. One day I want to know if he is named after Arafat!

no its one thing to misspell a commonly known name. But "Aponza" is just a normal name for black colombians.

never thought about that one, guess its supposed to mean "Wellington" maybe. Reminds me of Wilmington but they probably weren't thinking of that

Golazo.
