As well it should be........You can't retire a chant for a player, As far as i'm concerned, if he's in a Quake net.....he deserves the chant as soon as he makes a worthy save.
Well... we're not actually getting many shutouts these days, though I think it's more because of our makeshift backline. But I vote a resounding YES... as do about 85% at this point. GO PAT YOU CRAZY CANUCK!
It's definitely been going on for a while. I remember that chant being used the last time he made the PK save on Razov at the HDC. Someone even commented on BS after the game that they wondered how Joe Cannon, who visited the SJ supporters section, felt when he heard the chant being used for someone else.
