http://www.ussoccer.com/ The Fed finally made it official that Hartford will get the qualifying game in August. Not a big suprise since CONCACAF already posted it on their site a while back. And from what I've heard the stadium is great. I'll give this decision 2 thumbs up.
http://www.rentschlerfield.com/splash.cfm 40,000, not a bad seat in the house (went to Celtic-Liverpool last summer, trust me). 2 hours or less from Boston, NYC and Providence. 4-5 hours from Philly. 6-7 hours from DC (though Southwest flies 8-10 round trips between BWI and BDL every day). Its perfect. And I'm not saying that because its only a 45 minute drive for me.
More good news from the website... "New rules have been instituted for this event ONLY. For this event, flags, banners, and signs will be allowed into the stadium. Noisemakers such as bells, drums and plastic trumpets will also be allowed, while air horns remain prohibited.
