That was an interesting story. Thank you for the link.
Just goes to show that Koreans and Iranians can get along, as long as they have a common goal.

BTW, is Gohtbi American-born or did he move there from Iran?

Im very happy for him, hopefully he will grow and do very well for himself, no matter who and where he ends up coaching.

outside of BS, there really isnt much problems with Iranians and Koreans IMO.

i really never heard of Afshin Ghotbi until you guys mentioned him, but i do remember seeing a video of him working with the KNT players, seems like theres a good chemistry between him and the players

IFF made a huge mistake not to appoint this guy...at least 30% of Korea's success in WC'02 was because of this man.

Shame that we can't use our OWN countrymen to do us good things, down with IR and it's ideology.

Afshin Ghotabi is not only good in getting players in shape but he is also a brilliant analyst.

Another Iranian was behind Turkey's success in WC2002. He made this program on his computer where he could chart the trends of every player on every team. For example if the player had a tendency to kick left on a freekick then the Turkish defense would line up tothe left. The Turkish coach even admitted that he was a huge help to the Turkish NT.

Now imagine how good Iran would be if we keep these kind of people IN IRAN.

The IFF doesn’t pay attention to that kind of crap , they don’t understand anything , they run TM like a store owner in a bazar , some people in the IFF are more worried about bribes and making the extra $ , the last thing on their mind is success , its only our players who want success.
