This. Santos was playing hurt (kept grabbing his groin) and not doing anything, why no sub? And yes, no sense in taking a chance on any of those yellow cards getting their second, why no sub?
Honestly, it sorta comforts me in a way that he has so beautifully shown Porter his truest characteristics in game one. I can only hope that Coach Bot 9000 sees the obvious and doesn't view this as a reclamation project of some sort.
He already broke down the walls around my heart with that simple gaze over his sunglasses in his avatar.
Talking about avatars, excuse me while I go back to the eighties to find a "no greater than 9.8 KB file" so I can stop being a white shadow on a blue background.
You just got to have her wrapped in a few Nordecke scarves with the Hell is Real scarf to top it off. Nice and warm and asthma at bay. I think.
Correct. My Church friend has 2 tickets in the plastic bucket seats and was invited to the brunch. I was able to tag along because his wife and 2 kids all said it was too cold out for Soccer.
Long story short, that's probably not going to happen. The previous owner - and founder - was a Columbia grad who is knee deep in the cutting edge of the internet. He has started or helped start and at least partially owned several outfits that even I had heard of. Like Squarespace. He gets them off the ground, sells them for a monster profit and moves on to the next thing. His Bloomburg: Mr. Jesse Hertzberg serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Livestream LLC. Mr. Hertzberg serves as an Advisor to TechStars, First Growth Venture Network and Civic Builders. He served as Chief Operating Officer of Squarespace, Inc. He served as Senior Vice President of Operations & Business Development at Squarespace, Inc. Mr. Hertzberg is a strategy and operations executive with broad experience at high-growth startups including Squarespace, Etsy, BigSoccer and StarMedia. He is Co-Founder of BigSoccer. He has a proven track record of driving profitable growth by instilling an entrepreneurial culture and crafting strategic transactions. He has completed hundreds of millions of dollars worth of partnerships and acquisitions in a variety of business development, private equity and corporate finance roles. He holds degrees from the University of Pennsylvania and Columbia Business School. He is a huge soccer fan who did BS just because he wanted to (his BigSoccer name was "Huss" and he was on regularly) although he also used to make a nice chunk of change from the BigSoccer shop as well. (Which was in reality World Soccer Shop with a false front) (As an aside, I met him in 2001 when he came to Columbus for Dos a Cero and got some people to pass out fliers advertising BigSoccer.) He was always tinkering and drove the techs crazy installing new stuff, sometimes before it should have been, just because he always wants to be at the forefront of the technology in everything he does. Old timers will recall the site going down for hours or days or,once or twice, a week or more because they installed something that crashed the whole damned thing and they'd essentially have to rebuild it. A few years ago he decided to sell BS and tried to find a soccer lover to buy it. He couldn't and finally sold it to a very nice guy who operates about a zillion forums, on every topic you can imagine.I saw a partial list once, and it includes specialty forums for specific old cars (the 1940's Plymouth Forum, anyone?) and everything from quilting to bowling. He's a great guy but he's not likely to do much more than keep it running. I don't think he makes much on it and isn't going to go in the hole for it.
And really, all you need to do is use any decent photo software to keep shrinking the picture until you get it the right size. Most computers have it as part of their photo viewer. Takes 5 min, tops. First world problems....
