    Three things:
    1. Excited to see Santon play--hopefully he gets a half. We need to upgrade our full-backs!
    2. Verratti. Will be awesome to see him start for the Azzurri. He should be careful about his aggressive style of play though. (He picks up a lot of yellow cards at PSG).
    3. Balotelli and SES. Is this Italy's future attack pair?
    Definitely excited for this game.

I think Osvaldo should get it on the action too, he has been playing well for Roma. Lots of options up front! :)

Football Italia just announced our starting XI:

Italy: Sirigu; Maggio, Barzagli, Chiellini, Balzaretti; Montolivo, Verratti, Marchisio; Candreva, Balotelli, El Shaarawy

    That doesn't look too bad!

I like Verratti getting his chance to do the Pirlo impression. Good call on Prandelli.

    Fun game, lively first half.

Italy have had some bright spells of attacking football--Balo has been good, Verratti looks excellent, and Montolivo has shown some good things. But we've been undisciplined: Candreva has been giving away the ball in the final third, our full-backs haven't found the killer cross, and we keep playing too vertically--racing upfield, punting up to Balotelli, and sometimes getting caught in possession.

Would like to see Santon in the second half, and maybe an attempt at Pirlo and Verratti in the same midfield. Forza ragazzi!

Thanks for the memo. I was actually curious if he was stinking up the joint; my stream craps out now and again and hadn't seen anything noteworthy from him, and they flashed in on his face on the bench, he seemed annoyed...nice to see Florenzi, Verratti getting a chance, but down 2-1 now, let's get it back boys...friendly or not, losing to France is unacceptable!

^ Thought you were mad that he was subbed...

He setup the goal...thought he played ok. A little soft, but that's him.
