Esatto, what has La Parrucca done over the last 2 years to prepare for this tournament? Recall Motta after deeming him surplus during qualifying. Tinker and change the formation every single game while never blooding in any new players. So instead we have the Juventus Block who have been disappointing for Italia for a few years now and know they have no competition for their places, so coast during the friendlies and some of the qualifiers. Marchetti, Motta, Montolivo, De Rossi, Ogbonna, Giacc, Parolo, Eder and Pelle should not be guaranteed their places in the squad either when younger, fitter, more technical, talented players like Berardi, Saponara, Vasquez, Gabbiadini, Romagnoli, Pavoletti, Belotti etc dont get a look in and players like Insigne, Jorginho, Rugani are not even assured of their places on the plane.
What we are going to see is Buffon and the Juve 3 pass the ball around at the back, then Bonucci will launch a long ball to Pelle and we will look for knock downs and flick ons....Has it suddenly become 1978 again? Conte and his men of substance will be another embarrassment if he insists in bringing half crocked geriatrics like Motta, Monto and De Rossi.

Exactly although I honestly don't think he is really injured seriously. Just in pain from time to time. But I really want to see Jorginho and Benassi.

 

Candreva could you please have better shooting? This is why I prefer to start Insigne and Bernardeschi leaving Candreva as a super sub. He has great positioning and good pace, but he is off target way too much. I still like him as a player but I think Insigne and Bernardeschi should be starting over him.
