    HUGE match!!

We need a win or a draw of 3-3 or higher in order to clinch the group and qualify for the finals. If we end up with enough points to be one of the 4 highest group runner ups we'll go through to a qualifier, and currently we're one of the top 4 runner ups...

We drew them 2-2 in Israel but most of what I've read about that game said that we were better and threw the game away much like the Swiss did to us on Saturday.

This is the final match of qualification and I'm really looking fwd to it, hopefully gonna watch it at the office through myp2p.eu

If anyone has any confirmed streams, please post!

Re: Under 21 Euro Qualification Israel vs. Germany

    FT: 0 - 0

That puts them both tied for 1st at 17 pts but Germany has better goal diff.

Israeli still goes through as one of the top 4 2nd place teams to be drawn with the 10 group winners into a home & away playoff.

7 winners progress to the finals.

it was a shameful performance by Germany, they didn't play at all for a win, the match looked in the end like the one in Gijon between Germany and Austria. Germany didn't want anymore, Israel didn't want either. Both were happy with a 0-0.

Sahar was injured in the Moldova game (5th minute). A forgotten drainage pipe was to blame and I read that Chelsea may sue the Moldovan Football Federation if his injury proves to be serious...

The Under-21's must pass Italy in a play off to determine who makes it to the finals in Sweden. Good luck boys!

its been reported that the u-21 team is requesting teammates kiyal, sahar shpungin and buzaglo for the match against italy.

in that case i think the line up should look something like this:

    -------------------Levitta

    --Shpungin--Kozokin--Maimon--Canada

    --------------Kiyal-------Yeini

    --Buzaglo-------------------------Assulin(Rafaelov)

    --------------Sahar--Tammuz

Very important match in Italy tomorrow. I'd like to think we can win this game so that the return leg in Israel will be easier but I'd be happy with a draw and then a win at home...

The under 21 side is strong but with the senior squad playing on the same day, I don't know what players will be available for the u-21's...

Italy may be facing the same issue, although they def. have more options than us. Either way, should be a good match.

    Italy 0-0 Israel

The Italians are running our midfield ragged. Assulin doesn't have players like in Barca to support his skills. He looks like he is frustrated and wants to see more of the ball. Defense hasn't looked that bad though.

Well a 0-0 draw is a good result so let's hope our home ground advantage will deliver a win on Wed. in Tel Aviv.

It's a great result. Really amazing to draw w/ Italy's under 21's. They are very strong indeed.

Bloomfield will be full for the match. They will even have a big screen broadcasting the national team's qualifier in Latvia at the stadium before kick off. Moti Ivanir has announced his starting line up:

    Ohad Levite

Omri Canada, Lior Jan, Oshri Roash, Rahamim Chakoul

Shiran Yeini, Almog Cohen, Lior Refaelov, Gai Assulin

    Toto Tammuz, Shimon Abuhatzira

I like this line up except for Rahamim Chakoul. I think that he is inconsistent and didn't like his play in the first leg. Perhaps at home he will be much better.

Gai Assulin made a terrible mistake. There is no one on the team that can play at his level. His talent is wasted here.
