I used to read, and occasionally post on, a left-wing British board--one that makes the BigSoccer Politics board look like the Buchanan Brigade forum--and one of the "people" who posted on there was a gay Muslim (Palestinian I believe, might've been Pakistani) living in London who openly supported al-Qaeda and Hamas. He was respected by the other members of the board, too.
