It might not be the best time to be a Arab Muslim in America, but Chinese Americans??? Please. For example, median income for Chinese Americans is way above average.

I was thinking this evening about the new news, about the army translator being held on suspicion of spying, and I thought...isn't it JUST GREAT that we kicked out a bunch of Arab translators because they're gay?

Silence! No immigrant jokes, Sir. Confess now! Or I count to three before you'd lose your plea bargain right.

You don't have to be an American citizen, but you do have to have some sort of connection whether it's a green card etc.

I was merely trying to point out the ignorance of verybdog's statement.

Wait, so your theory is, that gay Arabs would be in favor of Al Qaeda?

Isn't that a bit like calves being in favor of veal parmagiana?

I used to read, and occasionally post on, a left-wing British board--one that makes the BigSoccer Politics board look like the Buchanan Brigade forum--and one of the "people" who posted on there was a gay Muslim (Palestinian I believe, might've been Pakistani) living in London who openly supported al-Qaeda and Hamas.

He was respected by the other members of the board, too.

Yes, that's my theory and I'm sticking to it. Gay people will only support Al Qaeda.

I see they tried to hang some sort of charges on him for downloading porn? Based on what I've heard about the computer habits of airmen (even on duty) through friends who've been in the reserves, they can't be serious, can they?
