Well England is totally different than the US but realisticly.....maybe 65/35 conservative, at least in my area. And I would venture that 9 out of 10 social workers are liberals and 7 out of 10 UAW workers are democrats. And no Republicans aren't really fiscally conservative in 2007 but who else am I gonna vote for? The Dems aren't much better. I would vote for certain dems but as a party idealogy I think the pro-tax-cut people are still more likely to be Republican. Ron Paul is a Republican you know. His party might not agree with him on anything but it's not like he could run with his principles as a democrat.
