LOL Utd under Ole is top of the league. I can’t stand the sight of their fanbase. Their ego is even above LPB fanboys.

In 32 matches played with Real Madrid Luka Jovic scored two goals:
    - The fifth goal in a 5-0 victory over Leganés
    - The fourth goal in a 4-1 win against Osasuna

In his first match on loan to Frankfurt he entered the game in the 62nd minute against Schalke with the score 1:1.
His first goal put Eintracht up 2:1 then scored another for 3:1.

He scored the same number of goals in 28 minutes with Frankfurt that he scored in a year and a half with Madrid.

Not quite as extreme as that example, but Timo Werner is also in a huge goal drought after seemingly scoring whenever he liked in the Bundesliga.

PS... nothing more pathetic than a player pointing to the badge on his jersey at that stage of the relationship with a club.

Another observation ... Man City are 2nd with a game in hand just 2 points behind. After a rocky start, Pep seems to have put the team back on track. Of note, they have the best defensive record having allowed 13 goals and only 3 in the last 10 games. I don't follow, but I read somewhere that Pep has adopted a more defensive style. Not sure if true.

Am going out on the limb and saying this must be the worst position Juve have been in for the past 10 seasons. Ten points back and barely clinging on to a top 5 league position. Still doable though as the teams in front of them are just not that good (see Inter's CL performance).

Leicester City top of the table again! :)

Chelsea are dreadful! Aston Villa haven't played a league game since New Years' Day and Chelsea still can't pull away from them. Stuck in 8th place! :ROFLMAO:

Pep is doing the same thing what Luis Aragones and Del Bosque did with the Spanish NT. He’s using possession defensively due to the lack of creativity in that City team and he’s obsessed to win the CL. I’m 100% convinced he’s winning the PL again and has a good shot this time in the CL. Also, the defense significantly improved after Ruben Dias’ arrival. I know some people won’t agree with me, but Pep is a way better defensive coach than Jose Mourinho. He had better defensive records on a consistent basis in comparison to Mourinho.

lol what?? I was watching Villareal v Granada and forgot there was Copa del Rey today too so I didn't even follow. Great news!
(Weird that we have La Liga and Copa games on at the same time but good to see teams are catching up with their games in hand).

PS... I see that Isco and Vinicius Jr started for LPB. Talk about 2 guys that haven't really panned-out at all (after looking like a sure bet 2-3 years ago)! There is still time in Vinicius' case but doubt Isco will amount to much.

I think you have to go back to 1995-96 when both Barca and Madrid won zilch.

In the 25 years since then, either LPB or Barca have won one of the main 3 trophies, except in 2003-4 (but LPB won the super cup that year)

Embarrassing dive by Suarez to give Atleti a penalty in the 88th minute! Wow! LPB fans are gonna love him even more now.
