With many matches having been cancelled by Covid-19 lockdowns in 2020, it's nice to see a few national teams are playing again before the end of the year. In August, Tallinn hosted the first international comeback game, Estonia v Latvia. You say it like it's a bad thing! (Agencia de Noticias ANDES, cc-by-sa) Brazil are among the teams who have matches coming up in November and December, including: Brazil v Ecuador Two games scheduled, 27 Nov and 1 Dec https://www.eluniverso.com/deportes...l-femenino-brasil-ecuador-amistosos-sao-paulo And intercontinental games for two teams hoping to be at the Olympics in 2021: Chile v Zambia https://zambianfootball.co.zm/chile...na-friendly-match-with-copper-queens/zfadmin/ These will be their first meetings. Zambia won the final of the African Olympic qualifiers in 2020 against Cameroon; next year Chile and Cameroon will meet in home and away legs in the playoff. The Chilean squad list is here. Zambia's Copper Queens lost recently in the semi-finals of the COSAFA Cup, beaten by Botswana.
There were a few others to my knowledge: 9/20: Bulgaria 3 - Luxembourg 0 10/27: Serbia 2 - Bulgaria 1 Ghana will play Morocco on Nov. 30 in Accra.

Zambia was also forced to use their back-up GK for these two friendlies as Hazel Nali was unable to travel due to disciplinary grounds.
Exclusive: England Women are planning to host their own version of the SheBelieves Cup in February due to lack of international fixtures and are in talks to get three national teams to join themhttps://t.co/VTMvp63Kl5— Katie Whyatt (@KatieWhyatt) November 28, 2020
FWIW, U.S. Soccer remains confident a SheBelieves Cup will happen on U.S. soil in February. My guess — assuming it happens — would be no fans, single venue, easy access (Orlando/Disney where MLS laid groundwork? 🤔). https://t.co/KBkfq5tzHg— Jeff Kassouf (@JeffKassouf) November 28, 2020
The Tournoi de France will also happen next February. So 12 teams will be in those three tournaments, no Algarve, what about the Cyprus Cup?
Has it been confirmed that the Algarve Cup won't take place in 2021?? Even if they opt for fewer teams? I could see the tournaments having these teams: SheBelieves: USA, Canada, Mexico, Brazil or Chile England tournament: England, Ireland, Denmark, Sweden Tournoi de France: France, Netherlands, Germany, Norway Algarve Cup: Portugal, Spain, Italy, Belgium
I am not sure: Which would you rather play, teams you are likely to play in your regional World Cup qualifying games or teams from other World Cup qualifying groups, and in particular ones that are likely to go deep into the Cup competition? It seems to me there might be reasons to prefer the latter. I suppose it depends in part on where the world is with Covid 19.
Yes here: Algarve Cup will not take place 2021, covid reasons. Swedish FA is looking to set up some replacement in late February, since it's an important preparation for the Olympic tournament later that year.https://t.co/dGHwKqto2t— Daniel (@DandalBs) November 27, 2020
Yeah I think all the teams that have qualified for the Olympics will be playing those as warm up tournaments. And the Cyprus Cup is on as per their website.
I really hope Algarve Cup will resume after the Covid crisis: it already had strong competition in the same FIFA window from other tournaments in the latest years and I wouldn't want that the current situation could spell the end of this competition for years to come. I have fond memories of the two occasions when I went to Portugal to watch this tournament: it has a special atmosphere, that I guess only the people like me who went there to live it can fully appreciate.
In a Covid world, Japan, because of the geographical distance, could find it difficult to find high-level opponents to confront with to properly prepare for their home Olympic tournament.
Personally, I have enjoyed many years of the Cyprus Cup and the Istria Cup, two great tournament as well. Got found memories in Cyprus like getting a lift back to my hotel in the referees' bus after watching a game.
Perhaps a separate Asia tournament as well? Japan, Australia, New Zealand and either China or South Korea. Sweden probably joins England's tournament or the French one.
Well sometimes high-level opponents are found in the backyard...so to speak. Japan 3 - 2 Iwaki FC U18 (men) Nakajima, Hamada and Miura scored for Nadeshiko. It was good rematch for last month game which they had lost 1-3.

Two wins for Brazil in their friendlies, and Pia's "genius" status is still as yet unthreatened. A hat-trick for Debinha in the first match v Ecuador: https://www.sambafoot.com/es/noticias/seleccion-femenina-brasil-derrota-por-goleada-a-ecuador In game 2, also in São Paulo, an impressive score, though of course these aren't normal circumstances. The 2nd half had the senior debut of Brazilian attacking right-mid Gio (Giovana Queiroz) who has played U17 football for Brazil, Spain and USA. Goals: Debinha (2'), Luana (16'), Andressa Alves (18', 45'+2'), Rafaelle (21', 42'), Julia (71'), Erika (80') - Match report: MundoDeportivo.com
