Injustice: Gods Among Us

drats. I'm not gonna panic just yet, they did say it will run for a month.

 

I got my beta code off Reddit.

Batman is mostly the same from Injustice 1. Only seen minor differences in some strings. Superman has been scaled back. No longer can effectively zone. Supergirl is amazing. I think the best character in the the beta. My main although will be changing to Power Girl when I get the full game. Have not seen much Atrocitus.

Game looks absolutely amazing. The Gear system is addictive too. Next character reveal will be on Thursday.

In addition the official web-site has updated to include Brainiac, Bane, Poision Ivy and Robin.

 

I'd imagine a CW skin pack DLC to be released...

Catwoman and Cheetah are revealed along with gameplay of Poison Ivy. I have no idea who Cheetah is.

 

Dr. Fate announced. Looks really cool. My favourite so far.

 

Flash and Green Arrow are revealed. Reverse Flash is a premier skin for Flash. I also saw Captain Cold in the background behind Gorilla Grodd.

Never got to play in the beta so curious what the power stuff is. Either way my Catwoman is gonna be hungry for some competition, there'll be some takers on the xbox, right?

I never beat the campaign in Injustice 1 but going off what is happening in Injustice 2 I at least wanna go back and catch the ending, holy moly! Netherrealm really are the kings of crafting a great story into a fighting game, there isn't anyone who comes close to them.

 

got my third online win last night!
record is now 3-12 across all online modes
except that AI mode, which is pretty cool in itself and I spend way too much time tinkering with the stats in that

 

Falling down a rabbit hole of collecting gear to make sure I have a solid defending AI team. Which is good cause it gets me back into playing the campaign and trying out the multiverse stuff instead of playing online matches (7-12 in unranked vs!).

 

Finally got around to playing this over the weekend, I am horrible during online play, I believe I'm 1-9 in ranked.... loving the story and multiverse modes. So far my go to characters are Blue Beetle and Atrocitus...

 

tip: set up an AI battle simulator team so you can gain some easy xp and mother boxes
