The addicks have HH and JJ, they need an II to complete the HH II JJ lineup.

Anyone that would fit to buy in January?

Haven't found an II. But if we were to get Kasey Keller in January, we would have a KK.

Any other double letter players out there? We should create the all double letter futbol team. Here's mine in a 3-4-4 formation with one sub on each line. Are there others we could put in here? Maybe an all time double letter team?

GK - Kasey Keller [Carlo Cudicini]

Ds - Herman Hreidarsson, Mario Melchiot, Colin Cooper [Cosmin Contra]

Ms - David Dunn, Damien Duff, Kevin Kilbane, Miguel Pedro Mendes [Fabrice Fernandes]

Fs - Jonatan Johansson, Didier Drogba [Carlton Cole]

The radio play by play of a match with this team would be hiliarious! You'd never have to say a name.. although there are a lot of DDs

craig capano (dmid fire) is the only name I can think of that I've heard of
jack jewsbury and guillermo gonzales i found on mlsnet

And II is a striker too! Just what we need. I wonder what his stats are -- not only goals, but age, height, etc.

too bad jeffers already has the number 11

i read a couple of match reports, looks like he's scored in some euro cup ties so he's experienced.

somehow i doubt a london derby can compare with the intensity of the partizan/red star derby.. but maybe we could get him!

This is one of the funniest things that I have read in a while.

It's kind of funny that on BBC yesterday, when they were airing the Charlton Q&A session, that the live hosts were also talking about players whose first and last names started with the same letter.

Folks were calling in with entire Charlton and Millwall teams with the double letters.

They were also asking for double letter managers, refs, teams and grounds.

With the last two, Wolverhampton Wanderers and Craven Cottage were two of the best mentioned.

And then Keith Peacock mentioned that his first name starts with a K while his last name ends with a K. I wonder what kind of team we could come up with that!
