Justin Gorman told me today that the Wizards would be willing to ship banners, flags, etc. We're trying to work out an early setup period at the HDC. If you want to have the Wizards ship stuff, contact Justin at jgorman@kcwizards.com and work it out with him.

I have also learned that the section designated for "Cauldron West" is contiguous to the other Wizards sections. This is very good news. Once we get there, we might be able to work some rearrangements to get everyone more involved.

Also, I have one ticket still available.

    End of line.

Contacted Justin. Calida is taking the banner and flag to them this afternoon.

I also asked about the sections we're setting in. He said that the original section for Wizards players family/friends and staff was section 130. They sold that all out, which overflowed into sections 129 and then 128. We have 127. So he said it is looking like we're going to have four solid sections of Wizards fans. A very good thing.

    Update:

Calida dropped off the flag and banner today. She said that they got a large box of some sort to send stuff to LA.

    Items listed:
    1) BAF
    2) Forza Wiz banner
    3) Drum
    4) Chopper!

Thats right, Chopper is guarding the drum and banners for us! :D

(I asked if the actual guy was going in the box to save on air fair, but she said she forgot to ask Justin about that :) )

At this point, I'd like to add that I've met the guy who is Dynamo (remember, he's not Chopper anymore, but who really cares), and it would probably be worth sending him in the box to save money on the air fare. ;)

I'm going to bring my JIMMY vs CONRAD banner with me to LA. Is there anyone who has front row seats that I can give it to so they can hang it up?

    Are you in sec 127?

If so, we should be able to hang it there easily enough. That section goes down to field level.

Yeah, I am. Should I just ask someone if I can hang it in front of them or what should I do?

Just do it. We'll be hanging a bunch in front of 127 and over towards the other Wizards section to our left (the players wives/staff sections) so there should be Wizards banners along that whole quarter of the field :)

i'm about halfway through with this banner
    [IMG]

it's 4' by 20' and the letters are squared off as it's easier to mask off and space out.

I'll probably end up having Jon (my uncle) bring my USA kansas City flag with him to LA.

As for my drum...i might see if someone i know in KC can take that down to arrowhead at some point. That might make things alot easier.

The shipment of stuff the Wizards FO was sending left today at noon. So you'll have to get your drum there some other way.

With all these new flags and stuff that we are planning on hanging at the game on Sunday, we may need more space to hang these up next year around the stadium for home games. :D

here's what I did in about a half hour Wed. afternoon. Will finish the rest tommorow.

For reference to the size, that is my coffee table in the lower part of the picture, and that 1/2 of the banner is covering my entire couch. Sucker's going to be huge.

    costs:
$5.88 for 8ft x 10ft tarp (cut down the middle)
$.96 for a can of spray paint
$.96 for another can of spray paint since I ran out
    ---
$7.80 at Wal-Mart for a huge 4ft. x 20 ft. banner that should last at least a season long.
