I wonder how many Gerrard fans are still Gs fans.

Yes, this is definitely the more appropriate question.

If the team plays like it has since Gerrard arrived, I doubt we'll get too many converts.

I spoke to a friend who follows Mexico & Chivas, so has followed Chicharito closer than I have in the past couple of years and he's got me a bit worried. He's concerned that Hernandez seems to have lost his rhythm.

Then again, this is the league where Bradley Wright-Phillips was a prolific goalscorer, so there's plenty of hope.

And his much more famous and accomplished brother was a bust. I know Shaun was 34 when he came but still surprised he couldn't buy a goal. Well actually he could since he scored exactly one. And then sunk to being loaned down to RB II for his second MLS season. Weird times.

Nice piece from mlssoccer.com. Goes without saying, but Chicha a very different personality from Zlatan

Javier "Chicharito" Hernandez trains with LA Galaxy for first time: "We have a perfect team

He's always seemed a nice guy. I know he was popular in the locker room at Man United.

I liked the video of him encouraging Zubak. Put us to shame here at Big Soccer as far as positive attitude. I plan to be in full support mode at the games.

Easy for him to put us to shame that way. After all, he didn't live through the last few years with this team. We did. No wonder we're scarred.

I wonder if this could be a thing:
Javier Hernandez’s £145K-a-week wages are creating a ‘toxic’ atmosphere at West Ham, says ‘insider’

    Sounds pretty familiar.

Don't know how credible these are, but lots of rumors of Chicharito being a locker room cancer coming out of Mexico / Spanish media. Here's one "badly" translated piece:

Find out why Chicharito Hernandez's teammates in LA Galaxy no longer want him on the team
Apparently the source is an un-named Galaxy player?

Honestly, Chicharito has been so bad. Those misses yesterday.. yikes!!

Say what you will about GBS, but the man had the stones to bench our most expensive and famous DP during a game many in the media had labeled a must win game for him. Word was he was being fired if the team had lost.

This signing is becoming an international joke. It's literally having the opposite effect of what AEG desired, disgracing the final years of a Mexican legend and making the Galaxy look like a joke of a club in the process. People are calling for him to return to Chivas where he can finish his career "with dignity". If they were hoping to gain the long-term support of Mexican fans from this fiasco, it's creating the opposite effect.
