I'd actually try to visit one or two Seattle Sounders home matches. Of course, I'll certainly watch them when they come visit the San Jose Earthquakes (though I'll obviously root for the Earthquakes ). But yes, having the MLS team named the Seattle Sounders will definitely have me that much more excited about a Seattle team in MLS than if it's named anything else! -G
I'd like to see these pubs be allowed to participate in the unveiling of the colors and official name. If one of the local networks would agree to cover the press event, we could then have pubs open up to celebrate alongside. Maybe even have some merchandise in the pubs in advance to sell when the annoucement is made? Also it will be great to see events at these pubs when there is an away game of MLS Seattle televised on ESPN, HD NET or other network. I can already hear myself singing a song about Beckham's left testicle or lack thereof.
