If you want to preserve the logo simply cover it with a wax pencil. Should work. Sinde it is black on white now you could just outline the black logo with wax which would seperate the border, keeping it white so you can distinguish the logo from the black towel. Or,......you could just dye it and deal with it. I mean, the effect after all is a bunch of black waving items ? Good luck.
Also, there's a chance that white towels in black dye might just give you a bunch of gray towels. I'm not sure how well that stuff sets in.
Here's all you need to know about dyeing things black (God, I love the net!) http://www.netgoth.org.uk/~bob/dye.faq.html K
I'd try it on a few of them for next weeks game and see how they turn out. Bring enough white ones for tomorrow.
Since we are the away team and wearing white this game, just keep the towels white then you can worry about the dying for the home game
I may do that...suddenly, after reading all the warnings about messes and turning out blue/gray rather than black, I really don't feel this is something that should be attempted at the last minute.
That's cool, we can either do white tomorrow OR save them to be dyed for next week (your call, you have the towels!) K
I'll hang onto them, it's not like we don't have other things to use tomorrow. This will give me a whole week to work with them. I have spent too much time on this today....my boss "fired" himself so he could go home early....he got tired of waiting for me "to get unbusy with my soccer stuff" to fire him!
Don't know what the hell I'm waiting for.....boss gone = me gone too! See you all tomorrow! I'm out!! Vicky
My brother the Towel-boy update: Black towels total = 36 Red towels total = 18 enough for a bus load of rabid D.C fans to wipe the Skums asses!!! ~~~Worm~~~
