True. I just picked McGuire because he was the topic of attention. But yes pretty much all of those players would drive Keano up the wall..
I've never wanted a player to leave United as much as Maguire. Hes everything thats wrong with the current squad. Not enough talent, wrong mindset, weak leadership, soft, etc. The fact that hes our captain just makes it that much worse.
Noticed that Bruno didn't pass him the captains armband when he came on last night as sub. Maybe given Ralf seems to have settled on a different first-choice CB pair and that Ralf has cemented Bruno as a starter as an 8 in a midfield 3, then a de facto captain change may be followed by a de jure one .....
We didn't see it on camera but Bruno still gave up the armband to Mag. Which whether we agree with him being skip or not, was the right thing to do from Bruno and shows he's a team player. Maybe Ralf will take it away from him, if he's no longer a guaranteed starter? Still remains to be seen.

I was going to argue that Sanchez was a worse signing, but at least we learned that Sanchez was horrible and stopped playing him. So I guess Maguire takes the cake.

I mean, Chelsea are persisting with Lukaku because he's 110MM signing. And they're similar in the fact that there's no way either team will recoup that huge signing cost if they can even offload them. Both are basically an albatross. Side note, do you think we persist with Maguire for nefarious reasons? Do you think Adidas or someone in the board are saying we have to have a white guy be captain, and the captain has to play? I don't really understand why he's still captain. Especially considering all the opportunities we've been handed to make a change.
Gaz Neville is a United legend, but he was a pretty shot captain as well. Maguire is in my Fellaini category but at least MF could get his headers on target. Lol
