Why in the world doesn't the Crew FO make a better effort about posting video of the preseason? I want the chance to look at all the things the coaches are looking at with these preseason matches. I am so hungry for the start of the season and we get little tidbits here and there! I want more information on our team other than cell phone video from someone as avid a fan as myself and the rest of us on this forum! We should not be forced to take matters into our own hands. The Crew FO should be knee deep in putting video up on thecrew.com and keeping us as informed as possible.
Maybe they still hope to sell a few more season tickets before fans get a look at what they're paying for and recoil in horror.
"I want more." Crew FO: "You'll get what you've always received and like it. We have a vague and ill-gotten marketing philosophy that cannot be denied!"
Hey come on, now. This stellar effort to build up awareness for the CCL match is obviously taxing the FO resources.
Anyone remember the FO used to have a guy whose job was fan relations? And used to post in fan sites? I dont even remember his name.
Eric Gehrig's blog from preseason- http://ericgehrig.blogspot.com/ Other than that and Shawn's occasional updates, we've got nothing. Remember how great it was when everyone wrote on Jed's blog during preseason last year? Guille-isms at their finest.
Yeah, but the FO put the axe to that after just a few posts. Another example of the lube-less insertion of Crew Management.
Rock on the Range is just a few months away. When Korn comes to town, it takes a lot of work getting things ready. They'll get to soccer after that.
But I DID remember I had email contact with him.. so I sorted my yahoo mail and Voila! It was Jeff Wuerth PR is a tough business.
The guy I used to work with was Chris Wilson. He was fantastic. You could always shoot the shit with him or even bitch about situations. He always took the good with the bad and occasionally, when warranted, ran it up the flag pole.
heh... what could be better than to give St Dunc some added responsibilities! Oh.. waait.. till he gets that bar running, he NEEDS a paying job. - note that Wuerth 'parted ways' with the FO shortly after he started communicating directly with us.
IIRC, that username was controlled by several different people, but that's ancient history by now. And I don't think "direct communication" was the reason why he left...
So you're saying he let intern-serfs post under his username? I happen to think it is a part of it.. and I'm not gonna show you the email that 'implies' it. If he let interns post then it's sure understandable.
Ok, I thought you were referring to the "joeyinfo" thing. I thought Weurth was joeyinfo, but that's not true:
