The Damned! One of my favorite albums by the Damned. It is so different from their first couple of albums.
The kid does look really good in net, both tonight and overall. The kiddo and I were joking while watching about how strange it is to see our keeper make a save not immediately start screaming his head off, stomping on the turf, and scowling. of course, New England’s ‘keeper is damn good, too- we had a few good chances this half that he’s stopped.
I thought the Beatles’ recorded The White Album. When did they sue their fans? (Well, maybe Yoko did)
without knowing anything about what's going on in the locker room, I'm not Wicky out based on results because the scheme seems to frequently create chances, it's just a lack of execution and that's on the talent level
Nope, The Damned and Hans Zimmer produced that one (according to Wikipedia) Nick Lowe produced Damned, Damned, Damned (another good Damned album, but their best was Machine Gun Etiquette. )
Oh Emmm Jeeee (omg) I was here 30 minutes before kickoff and no game day thread. Thanks for taking the time! While the end result was exactly what I expected, the journey to get to the loss was far more entertaining and hopeful than I could have ever imagined. That was a really fun game to watch!
I'm almost afraid of what Nashville is going to do to us this weekend. They've only lost 3 times this year and I know there's no chance of that increasing against us, so I'm really just hoping we can score a few to their many and make it a fun time. Much as tonight sucked, it was exciting enough to watch and if the team can't be good (see: the past decade), entertaining will suffice.
It was nice talking to you! I took my 5 year old for a daddy daughter night (getting two new siblings in under 2 years in a pandemic can be kinda rough). She had a great time, but I can't help but think how badly the pandemic has destroyed what Mansueto was trying to do here. He doesn't seem the type to offload responsibility from himself onto others or other situations, but damn if he didn't get screwed big time. That opener at SF was looking like it was going to be north of 35000. Yesterday looked liked it might have been 3500.
This is exactly it. The opener was north of 50,000 and would have made things a lot different. He now has to fabricate a reason for 50,000 people to show up. EDIT: AKA Lewandowski.
I just watched the recording of this game, and y'all got robbed. A fantastic header for a sure goal, and Turner earns his whole game check with that one save. And then a very late goal for the Revs that absolutely would not have happened if Chicago had been up a goal. The best I've seen Chicago look all year, really.
Except, of course, the 3-0 shellacking of Atlanta in July. We weren't robbed, we suck. There is a difference. Thanks for the encouraging words, though!
