And thats the truth. On Friday I honestly expected to lose this match. In sports, emotion is the biggest leveler there is. In every season, you'll have massive upsets from a spunky underappreciated, less talented squad against a completly bored, uncaring massivly more talented squad. As soon as they named the roster you thought this would happen. And it had nothing to do with A,c,d whatever team. And everything to do with "You get your ass beat if you don't bring it every single time". I applaud Haiti for the effort they brought to the game. I was able to watch parts of this match and read match reports from others and they played this match as if their lives were on the line and they deserved to win this game by 3 - 0 or so. And I wish that had happened. These friendlies are supposed to learning experiences. Done. We learned that if we don't put in the effort in international socccer, we will lose. No ifs,ands, or buts.
