Honestly, I don't know much about the other teams (I'm waiting for OKC FC to kick off next year before I truly get invested in the league), but it seems like the Scorpions would be our natural rivals, based on geography. And they're having a great year so far. I would also love to play FC Dallas or Houston in a friendly, or one of the smaller EPL teams (like Ottawa and Minnesota did recently).
We get to host the game, too. Apparently energy FO once again didn't bid for the game. So what they did was make all of their fans and supporters who want to see the game have to pay Rayo OKC for the pleasure. So Thank You! Sent from my SM-N915V using Tapatalk
I hope your coach puts out your best 11, they play an inspired game and get the victory. We (Colorado Springs Switchbacks) lost to them in the playoffs last year and their production crew and announcers were just so classless, not showing our goal celebrations etc. It felt great to go in there and beat them on opening day this year! They are the one USL team I can't stand, and I hope you batter them. That bit of hatred aside, I think this is a great matchup and I'm glad there is a stream; I'll be watching for sure as this is the best game of this USOC round. If anyone in OKC can share what the build up to the game is like i'd appreciate it! Does it have a derby feel to it or is it sort of mellow?
Oh no...There has been a lot of animosity in the last week. This should be great! Sent from my SM-N915V using Tapatalk
Gutted for you guys. I watched the first half and you were a class above; dominated the midfield, first to every loose ball, more quality on the ball and many chances to score. That ball across field into space from Samaras that your left winger couldn't control comes to mind; that has to be a goal…..And giving up that goal right before halftime was a killer. Just gotta be organized there and see out the half; can't be cut open like that. I don't know how the rest of the game played out..... Hopefully we give them the beating they deserve on August 24th!
We just wilted as the game went on. Some people wanted to blame the refs. The refs didnt let in the go-ahead goal, we did... Samaras hasnt played an entire game all year, I dont think, and he was out for the full 120. He became more, and more, of a non-factor as the game went on
