Um, and? The number here already has the possibilities limited by a lot - 99.9999999997891% of the possibilities are already excluded.

It's a PHP Script. Choose your team, click the button and it runs the logic. So yes, it does list all possible draws. Coder-man to the rescue!

You mean it could create any possible draw. That's not the same thing.

I fear you don't know what you're talking about.

I think what he's talking about is not just any possible final group selection, but actual order of draws. In that case a draw like this:

    'Group1:Netherlands,Algeria,South Korea,Serbia'
    'Group2:Argentina,Paraguay,North Korea,Slovakia'
    'Group3:Spain,Ghana,Australia,France'
    'Group4:South Africa,Uruguay,Japan,Greece'
    'Group5:England,Nigeria,USA,Switzerland'
    'Group6:Italy,Ivory Coast,Honduras,Denmark'
    'Group7:Brazil,Cameroon,Mexico,Slovenia'
    'Group8:Germany,Chile,New Zealand,Portugal'

would be different from a draw like this:

    'Group2:Netherlands,Algeria,South Korea,Serbia'
    'Group1:Argentina,Paraguay,North Korea,Slovakia'
    'Group3:Spain,Ghana,Australia,France'
    'Group4:South Africa,Uruguay,Japan,Greece'
    'Group5:England,Nigeria,USA,Switzerland'
    'Group6:Italy,Ivory Coast,Honduras,Denmark'
    'Group7:Brazil,Cameroon,Mexico,Slovenia'
    'Group8:Germany,Chile,New Zealand,Portugal'

So you're not talking about the same possibilities (although I agree that most people only care about the teams in each group and not their numbers)

Edit - He also includes the ordering of teams within each group, I imagine.

i dunno all his math erors. but i guess 1 error is he factoreal count group of A, B, C, D as diferent from A, C, B, D. A is seed and fix.

order dont matter this case so A, B, C, D same as A, C, B, D. u gota use diffrent maths, cant do factoreal and divide by constant ether, theirs other pot criteria so constant dont work

Your brackets are wrong from QF on.
In your scenario, it would be Arg v Eng, RSA v Ger, Hol v Bra, and Spa v Ita
    Then Arg/Eng v Hol/Bra and RSA/Ger v Spa/Ita
Brazil and Spain can only meet in the knockout rounds in the Round of 16, or the finals. Same is true for any teams from adjacent (A/B, C/D, etc) groups. And you can only meet someone from your own group in the final.
