It wont be easy for Lara to make things work immidiately. We have to give him time. And of course we dont have much time. I wish him good luck anyway

    YYYYYEEESSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D Happy Happy Happy!!!!
Finally!! I was really surprised by the FCF members, I thought they will give him another chance. And when the players told that they support Pinto, I don't think that anybody belived them. It's bullshit!! they wanted Pinto out as much as we do. Let's see how Lara will do, I belive that he will be in charge in the next 2 games, but our FED needs to fins decent coach quickly. Anyway, I wish Lara all the best and good luck and I'm going to open bottle of wine right now to celebrate Pinto's leave!! :D

I get so pissed when we lose that I don't even visit the forums not read any soccer news for a while.

It's so frustrating. anyway enough rant.

I was happy when we got some decent results against brazil and argentina. If he had tied these two games they would have kept him there. I think we do need a more offensive coach though. It was hard to see our team play ugly and then lose. I can accept playing ugly and tieing and maybe winning, but losing 4 - 0.

I don't think they're going to get anyone on the hot seat right now.

Hopefully Lara will do ok while we find a coach. Lots of names that need to be given a shot. Mao Molina, Angel, Toja, Pino, just to name a few. For the next friendly he should call up 24 players. 12 best foreign based and 12 best domestic league based players. Just put them on the field 11v11 and see if the domestic based players perform better than the foreign based games and pick the best team for the game from those rather than to have them watch game films and go through psychological exams and crap like that.

    Domestic based:
Julio, Palacio, Cassiera, Moreno, Mendoza, Giovanni, Amaya, Rodriguez, Ciciliano, Quintero, Montero

    Foreign based:
Rufai, Mosquera, Zapata, Zuniga, Bustos, Guarin, Toja, Mao Molina, Pino, Falcao, Renteria, Angel

    You'll probably end up with:

    GK - Julio
Def - Mosquera, Zapata, Zuniga, Cassiera
Mid - Toja, Guarin, Mao, Pino
    Forward - Falcao, Renteria

Pros: Lara knows a good chunk of the team, since he brought them up through the ranks

Cons: We are almost to the halfway point and there is not much time for experimenting and "getting to know" how the team plays...

I also do not feel that he should be considered an "interim" coach: Let him finish out the qualifiers..!!! How the hell can a team have continuity if the Fed. is considering a third coach!!!

Hopefully third time is a charm....
