I start this now because there is article talking about the Derby debutants, including Howard, though he's no stranger to this type of pressure. http://icliverpool.icnetwork.co.uk/...&headline=enter-derby-new-boys-name_page.html
This game will go a long way to determining Howard's future at Everton. Fluff something in this game and fans won't forget. Ever. Play well and the fans will love you.
Liverpool Echo - "Howard can rise to the challenge" http://icliverpool.icnetwork.co.uk/0100news/tm_objectid=17702469%26method=full%26siteid=50061%26page=1%26headline=howard%2dcan%2drise%2dto%2dthe%2dchallenge-name_page.html
Live on Fox Sports 1 over here, at 9 p.m. Melbourne time (4 a.m. PT/7 a.m. ET). Might be able to get to do some PbP tonight, in and around the AFL finals that are also on the tube. The 204th Merseyside Derby's on at a decent hour for me here.

Howard gets a quick touch almost straightaway, going down to make an easy save from Robbie Fowler, 17 seconds in after the kickoff.
Damn this game is physical...people are getting taken down left and right. For those that don't have it on TV...its on good quality/english commentary on QSIV on PPStream...not that you should stream though, you shouldn't, it's bad.
They got pulled completely out of position. The sort of marking you would expect from a team fighting relegation.
Johnson doubles the lead, 36th minute, on his derby debut... The Liverpool defenders -- he cut between two of them just inside the 18 -- just couldn't close him down. 2-nil, Everton...
Liverpool with a lot of chances here...it feels like its just a matter of time before they find the back of the net... Also, for the guy that wanted the QSIV link - I dont have one, but if you look on the channel list when in PPStream - its the only channel that says "(live)" after the Chinese characters. It you look for it, it's there. 2-0 ANDY JOHNSON!!!
Halftime -- 2-nil to the blue half of the Mersey's major clubs. Howard with a few touches, keeping his defense well-organized, en route to maintaining the clean sheet so far.
Timmy's only really tough save was on that Luis Garcia curling shot - he did great to save it although he got lucky with Gerrard just missing the rebound. Tim had a great great half in terms of knowing when to come out off his line and when to stay in - lots of 50/50 balls came into his box and he played them all perfectly. Everytime he came off his line he either got a punch on the ball (and took Crouch out one time in the process) or caught the ball. Solid first half from Everton, but you half to think that Timmy is going to see a lot of shots on goal in the 2nd half. Should be exciting stuff....
Lookie what I found....looks like the guy that capped these is watching the same stream as I am.... By the way...where is Bellamy? Edited to point out the awesome defending by Carragher on the second goal...right through the wickets.
