Howard and Donovan start. There was a report it was hailing earlier in Wigan.

    10 AM on FSC

Hahnemann isn't the GK on the bench...is his contract up?

13 First save of the game and Al Habsi denies Stracqualursi. Donovan picked out the striker and his team-mate poked the ball goalwards, but it was saved by the near post.

I believe LD almost having the assist here.

Howard makes a decent save on Di Santo, who outmuscles his defender on a long straightforward pass and manages to get a shot off.

Kind of surprising considering it's only Jan Mucha as backup. I assume Marcus will be heading to MLS in the summer.

LD has been pretty anonymous in this game so far. Gibson should've at least hit the target there. I guess it's easier said than done when a defender is flying at your feet.

Darren Gibson having a bit of a nightmare game. Gives the ball away quite often, putting his team in bad positions. His shooting has been way off too.

They need him to be sharper.

I cannot believe Neville was subbed on.

Donovan attacking the middle of the defense and trying to play little through balls at the top of the box. Should take a rip at one of those soon.

What position is Fellaini playing? A-mid / target forward or something?

HUGE gaffe by Howard..took a really weird bounce on the pitch after a deflection on second look, but it made him look very clumsy. Shame.

    1-0 Wigan.

Gibson must be gassed or injured because he is putting in very little effort.

Brutal spin but Howard obviously needs to save that. Cruel points to drop if Everton can't equalize in the next 10+
