so yeah, thats the problem. Probably every player will lack some motivation in his position, when he is too safe, too comfortable.

 

Shows everything wrong with this system. CF being so deep, while also there are no midfield outlets in crucial positions in second third - specifically in depth.

The end result, we can`t produce a coherent and creative build up, while opponent can without any worry push up with 5+ players and effectively press us, because they don`t need to worry for passes between them and behind their back in depth.

 

Fede gives one crucial thing besides work rate. Depth.

 

and Zidane didnt even make the change at HT hahahaha so what goes on in his head i dont know, it was 1-1 so he was lucky

Time to hit the bench and give our younger players more chance to show what they are capable of.

 

He is at best Arsenal/Spurs level player.

He wouldn’t be a starter at Barca, Bayern, Liverpool, City, Dortmund etc.

Heck even at Arsenal with Auba and Kane at spurs he would be a bench player. Meanwhile he is a starter at the biggest club in the world

 

Zidane doesn't do him any favors playing him so much. He needs a break.

Reminds me of when I went to the Celta game last month. At some points in the end, Benzema was all the way in midfield and Ramos up at front playing as CF. We tied of course.

 

32 year old player plays every minute.

21 year old player needs to rest every other week.

When I said this a while ago people laughed. Classic.

Benzema will always be technically good enough to contribute on occasions, but his athleticism is diminished for years now. He should have left together with Ronaldo (and Bale) after the 2018 Champions League. That was the moment to cash in and start a whole new project.

Inconsistent, everyone knows this, well, everyone whose actually watched him season after season should know it I think

 

which is why running him out there for 87+ minutes 10 to 12 matches in a row when he's clearly lost form is asinine
